Problem is not everyone likes every sauce. This website is meant to give the user a objective opinion prior to buying sauce. Perhaps a BBQ sauce buying guide if you will.

Have you ever looked for a Hot BBQ sauce or a really HOT sauce? How about a Mild Sauce or a sweet sauce ? Or even a mustard sauce? What is the sauce really like? Is the sauce really what label says? How afraid are you to order sauce over the internet? Sure it says it is good but why is it good?

I rate each sauce in 7 objective categories. Each are graded on a 0-10 scale (click here for the scale)

I have even tried to take pictures the ingredients and nutritional information of each bottle. Then if you want to look for a low sodium sauce (like I try to) you can give it a shot.

My tasting procedure is pretty simple. Each sauce is tasted on white bread and again directly from the spoon. They are all tasted at room temperature. I try my best to taste each variety of a brand at one time. I think that makes it a little more fair.

I am sure your opinion will be different than mine on some of these but by rating the most popular sauces first I hope to give each user their own base to use the site. Perhaps someday soon I will be able to take opinions from other users and post them but right now I can't. First I don’t have the time to write the code necessary to handle others voting and I am not sure how I can trust the public to use the same scale as me.
