Teams from at least four states will be coming for a Missouri State Championship title!

 

Teams will be preparing meat in four categories, chicken, pork ribs, pork shoulder/butt, and beef brisket.

 

Turn in times will start at Noon on Saturday and are as follows:

Noon – Chicken

12:30 – Pork Ribs

1:00 – Pork

1:30 – Brisket

 

3:30 p.m. we will start the awards ceremony.

 

Entry fee is $160 for 3 parking spots and $180 for four parking spots. Each parking pot is 10'x20'.

 

Currently we have a $2000 guarantee for our prize fund.

 

Payouts are currently scheduled as follows:

 

Grand Champion – $250

Reserve Grand Champion – $150

 

Individual Categories

1st – $150

2nd – $125

3rd – $75

4th – $50

5th –  $25

 

We will announce the final prize money at the Team Meeting on Friday, 3/27.

 

 

We will be following KCBS Rules

 

Teams that would like to setup on Thursday may do so from 6 until 10 p.m.  However, I ask you let me know if you are going to setup on Thursday.  I don’t want to sit there all night if no one is coming.

 

Contestants will compete in Chicken, Ribs, Pork, and Brisket. To contend for the Grand Champion a team must cook in all four categories.

 

Teams will be allowed to bring in extra vehicles in to unload but once done unloading only one vehicle per team will be allowed to stay in the competition area. We are in a parking lot so there are plenty of other parking options.

 

Nothing can be staked into the parking lot.
